Holiday Lakes is a private community. Our main lake is 221 acres, with a shoreline of approximately 12 miles. The subdivision consists of 1,348 residential lots.

Are non members allowed to put water crafts on the water?

Yes. Guests of members will be allowed to buy a 14 consecutive day pass for $340.00 (non refundable). Holiday Lakes will not allow any guest watercraft passes where the 14 day period falls either on a Holiday weekend (July 4th..etc) and or Lake Fest.

Holiday Lakes is not responsible for any damages or accidents that occur during entering, docking, removing or using your boat on our lake at any time.

If a guest is found to have not registered their boat with Holiday Lakes, there will be a fine of a $100 per day to the member who has allowed this non registered guest to enter. The Sheriff will also be contacted immediately and Holiday Lakes has the right to press charges if necessary.

Are there annual dues and if so, how much are they and what do they cover?

Effective in 2016 annual dues are $600 per year plus $20 lot fee per lot owned. These fees are for the repair, maintenance, and management of the community owned facilities, lakes, dams, roads, and spillway.

Are there any lake assessments?

Our last assessment was in 2015 for work on our dam & spillway. No projected assessments at this time.

All boats registered after March 8th 2018 will be restricted to a dry weight of (4,000 lbs).

If I buy a house mid year, do I have to pay the annual dues (including lot dues)?

Even if the previous owner has paid the annual membership and lot dues for that year, a new owner no matter what time of the year is responsible not only for the one time entrance fee of $2,000.00, but also for membership dues ($600.00). Our billing year runs March 1st - Feb 28th.

Can anyone from outside the Holiday Lakes community rent the lodge for a party or reception?

No. The lodge can only be rented by Holiday Lakes members in good standings with the Association. We rent out our lodge reception area and sometimes beach area, multiple times during the spring, summer and fall. Its a great place for class reunions, wedding receptions, graduation parties...or anything else you can think of. Members can call the office for details and pricing.

Is the restaurant open to the public?

Yes, most definitely. This is a common misconception that our restaurant is only open to the membership and this is not correct. Anyone from the outside area is welcome to enjoy our restaurant, its food and lake front atmosphere.
