Social Distancing Notice

Holiday Lakes
08/19/20 @ 1:43pm

Holiday lakes is strongly encouraging strict social distancing at this time. As most know Huron county has been deemed a hot spot in Ohio, even mentioned by the governor in his address this afternoon. We have been informed that if the cases in our area continue to worsen there is potential that the state will put our entire county on another quarantine. This for us (HL) would mean the closing of the brass pelican, all of our beaches and all common areas.

We would like to at this time encourage our members to avoid large gatherings and gathering areas including our beaches if at all possible, however we are not mandating the closure of our beaches. We are urging our members in all areas to practice the strictest levels of safe social distancing. This includes washing and sanitizing often, maintaining safe social distance from individuals you do not live with and all other protocols encouraged by the state of Ohio and the CDC. Remember this is information being passed down by the county health department from the state of Ohio. The potential of the state closing everything would be completely out of Holiday Lakes control so please do what you can to keep our community and families safe in this difficult time, and avoid the forced closing of our community!

We also ask that this thread not be used to express your opinions on the virus or the political decisions surrounding it, simply to inform our community of the dangers and potential repercussions of not protecting ourselves and our community, thank you.
